One Moment

It’s that one moment in time when a hand reaches out of nowhere to bring into our very being the beginning of Life.

It is the one moment all your tears come together to form a beautiful cascade of clear flowing water.

One moment, “the” moment when suddenly the light turns on and you find yourself standing in front of a mirror that you had no idea was even there.

You walk up, put your palms flat to the glass and there staring back at you is Love. It is no longer far off in the distance but right there, a beautiful reflection of you.

It’s “your” moment and when Life truly begins

Pink Sand Journey Home

Time endlessly drifting, swaying to and fro,

How long do I need to be still?

I surrender.

A voice within my heart whispers, “Be still and know I am here,”

Then the sounds of the waves somehow speak a language that penetrates my very soul,

“I will help you.”

Then effortlessly I find myself floating and being gently rocked by the tides.

There before me emerges a Lighthouse that becomes my focus forever more.

With each wave, the higher the tide, the closer the shore becomes.

I close my eyes.

Soon I feel a bump.

My eyes are awakened to pink sparkling sand,

A warmth of the sun I’ve never felt before and

An indescribable peace resulting from the pounding of the waves and

High tide that gently but strongly guided me Home.

True Union of Marriage

From deep inside my soul bursts,

a place of union surfaces.

Years prior I signed a piece of paper,

I stood in a church saying “I do”.

The world told me at that moment we became one,

But my heart told me something different.

Today the Truth is shown,

True union of marriage,

is the timing of two willing hearts surrendering to God’s grace.
