The Power of Words. Each day we hold the power to bring life or death to those around us through the words that we speak. We can uplift, encourage and inspire or we can tear down, ruin or destroy. My best friend called me yesterday morning and he was having more than a challenging day. He was beating himself up for a choice he had made the night before that he didn’t want to make any more and was mad at himself for making it. I listened knowing how hard it is working thru those lessons. I said, “Hang in there. I love you.” He then called me later in the afternoon to tell me while he was in drive-thru at Culver’s he had said something that made the girl laugh. When he got up to the window, she said, “thank you so much, I really needed that laugh today.” He said it blessed him so much to hear that, it was exactly what he needed. I love how that works! When he was able to be himself despite the troubles he was facing, it blessed someone which then in turn blessed him back with exactly what he needed. I want to encourage you that no matter what life lessons you are working through, let the Life of who you are flow out of your Heart to another. Words cannot be taken back so speak Words that are going to be so treasured by the Hearts around you that they wouldn’t give them up even if you tried to take them back.
