One thing God has taught me is never say never! I can’t tell you how many times I would think through (over and over again!), plan what I was going to say or what I was going to do especially in situations when someone was hurting or mistreating me. What I have learned and have been recently reminded of is God’s Spirit truly moves like the wind and we have to just spread our wings and let Him guide us. He knows what needs to happen, when it needs to happen and how it needs to happen. He taught me my plans definitely were not His plans and when I would fight what He was telling me to do and did things my way, things didn’t work out so well. But when I released and let Him be fully in control, I was amazed how He had a way of doing things that were far more powerful than anything I could have done and that included dealing with those who were hurting me. So don’t fret, please! If you are faced with something that is consuming you whether it is an issue at work, a relationship, or something related to your child, please do not waste any more time thinking about how you will or should react. You are wasting energy trying to figure out something He already has figured out. Let go and let God! Let His Spirit lead you, remember His yoke is easy. It truly is, the hard part is letting go fully so He can be the wind beneath your wings. It’s worth it … let go and take that leap of faith, it’s time for you to fly!
