Personal Perspective
Man in the Mirror …
What do you see when you look in the mirror? Are your eyes quick to see what you feel are flaws in how you look? Do you quickly come up with a list of things you wish were different about you? Take a minute to look. Are you wishing you had a different nose? different hair? different weight? different eye color? What is it you see exactly?
Now take another look in the mirror but this time I want you to remove the glasses of the world and see past the physical attributes and instead see directly into your Heart, what do you see now? This is where your eyes should be looking and not to the external features. Your true DNA in God is held within your Heart and not in the physical at all. Your eye color doesn’t make you who you are. Your weight doesn’t make you who you are. Your hair color doesn’t make you who you are. The Heart you Live makes you who you are.
Ask God to give you His eyes so you can see into your Heart and understand who you are and who you aren’t. You have to see past the physical otherwise that perspective will draw you into a life that isn’t planned for you, whether it chooses depression (because you don’t feel attractive or good enough), materialism (buying everything to try to validate who you are by having the best house, car, clothes, etc.), or the wrong relationship (because you settle thinking you don’t deserve more), etc. The worldly perspective chooses something far different than what God has planned for you. So start longing to see things thru His eyes because then you will see the things that matter and what really needs to change and what doesn’t. He will show you the beauty of who you are as well as the things He wants perfected in you. The awesome part is He will change your Heart if you are willing. Are you willing?
Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)
Love one another …
A good friend of mine came over this week for tea. She began to share a story with me. She said, “I want to tell you about my friend’s vacation. She and her husband took a bike trip down the Natchez Trace (a 444 mile long route that traces through Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee). It was really hot that day so what water they did have they went through really fast. My friend was panicking a bit so they went off path to try and find some water. They went into a small town where a man was watering his yard. They were so thankful to see him so they could get some water and get back on their bike trip. They approached him and asked him if they could have some water. He looked at them and asked, “What religion are you?” I said surprised, “He did?” She said, “Yes, he did and my friend’s husband who is a very personable guy smiled and jokingly said, ‘I hope you don’t hold it against us but we’re Catholic’. The guy looked at him and said, ‘at least you’re Christian’ and then gave them the water.” She said, “I couldn’t help but think what the wrong answer would have been and thinking would he have really denied someone water?”
God comes disguised in many ways … many, many ways. Can you see into the Heart of each person or are you seeing the outside and denying someone water? Every living creature requires water to live. Please see others through the eyes of your Heart and not the eyes of your head because the Heart will see what God sees and He Loves all children especially those who go off path looking for water to help them keep going on their journey. Leave the judging to God for it is His to judge not us. Imagine turning God away when He came to you for water. What you have done to the least, you have done to God. Love one another.
Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)

Look up, Look up, Look up!
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, what exactly are you filling your soul with? It’s not only what we are focusing our eyes on but the glasses in which we are wearing when we view it. Has someone or a situation happened in your life that hurt you deeply so everything you see is a shade of blue (blue sunglasses)? Has every button of yours been pushed and built up over time so that you are carrying around anger making everything you see a shade of red (red sunglasses)? Or maybe all the rejection from the world has brought you to a point you don’t feel worthy so you see everything thru a shade of gray (gray sunglasses)?
Our perspective becomes our reality. Please look up, look up, look up! Ask for healing of your Heart so you can see things through God’s eyes, through the Truth and not what the world has taught. An example, we’ve all heard the saying “getting the short end of the stick” but WHAT IF a situation in life is about ready to happen where the short end of the stick is the perfect fit needed to change your life? Who says the longer stick always wins? The way we view each and every situation is what will determine the kind of day we have … the kind of life we have! Focus your eyes on good and soon all you will see is good.
Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)

See the Beauty in ALL things …
We have a choice to either add to someone or take away from them. There is a reason and a purpose for each and every person who crosses our path each and every day. And most often, the people critical to our path are disguised so that we can only see them with our Heart (your mind makes you want to run away but your Heart tells you differently). All the preaching in the world doesn’t quite speak as much as a visual. I want to share a link with you that a dear friend of mine sent to me. It is a perfect visual of why we are not to judge a book by its cover EVER.

I cry every time I watch this video, did you see the expressions of people’s faces at the beginning of the video? They instantly formed an opinion because they were seeing with their eyes and not their Heart. The world tried to destroy precious Jonathan with their judgment and rejection but then God sent Charlotte who could see the beauty of who he is, to give him the confidence to bloom and share his beautiful gift with others. What made me cry even more was when Simon tried to separate them but Jonathan saw the value in his connection with Charlotte and wouldn’t let it happen … those are the Hearts we need in our Life and the Hearts that we all need to be.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)

Get rid of the garbage …
I saw a vision of garbage piled all over the place like a garbage dump. It almost filled each room of the house. It looked like very few things ever made it to the garbage and out the door. That garbage tends to fill the mind. It not only stinks but it makes it so no one wants to come visit and it leaves little room for anything else. When I think of garbage I think of empty containers, rotten food, etc. So when the world serves you rotten food are you holding onto that and letting it stink up your house or are you getting rid of it? When you drink a container of orange juice to bring you nourishment and much needed vitamins, are you thankful for the nourishment or are you clinging to the container in which it came? What I mean is maybe someone came into your life to touch your Heart so you felt alive, so you felt love but you started focusing on the container instead of being thankful for the nourishment the orange juice brought.
Put the rotten food in the garbage and please quit focusing on the containers that carried the much needed nourishment for your soul. Orange juice is orange juice no matter what container holds it, you know what I mean?
Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)

Affirmation …
Yesterday while at my Mom and King’s (that’s what we call my step-dad :), God gave me a Word for the week to share … affirmation. Affirmation is to state something positively, confirmation of truth. So over the next week, I want to encourage you to be mindful that what you speak are positive Words of Truth. Do not speak words just to speak them, speak only those positive Truths that are in your Heart. If what surfaces isn’t positive then don’t speak it and ask God to remove the negativity and allow you to speak only Words of Life to others.
You can find the good all around you but you have to look for it. As Zig Ziglar would say, “be the good finder.”
God showed me two visuals to help with this over the next week … 1) take a piece of paper (or index card) and write the word “affirmation” on it and put it somewhere as a reminder to speak positive Words (i.e. on your fridge, desk, in your wallet or purse). 2) take another piece of paper (or index card) and draw a black dot in the center that is about the size of a nickel – every time your eyes want to focus on the black dot, shift your eyes to the white of the paper instead of the black. This is a good exercise to help you to refocus your eyes on the good no matter what you are facing. When we focus our eyes on the good, then soon all we will see is good … our reality is only as good as our perspective.
Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)

Walk by Faith …
If you make steps forward based on what you see with your eyes then it is going to be seen through the sunglasses you have chosen to wear. Imagine it this way – if someone has hurt you and you carry that hurt in your heart you have decided to put on blue sunglasses so everything you look at is seen through blue eyes … that means when someone comes to you for advice you give advice based on looking thru hurt eyes, when someone treats you a certain way you look at that situation through hurt eyes. Now let’s say something makes you angry so you now have in your hands a pair of red sunglasses. You go to take off the blue sunglasses to put on the red but wait a minute, you are still holding onto the hurt so the blue sunglasses must remain. You then have to put the red sunglasses over the top of the blue. Next, let’s say something makes you jealous. You now layer a pair of green sunglasses on top of the blue and the red. The colors continue … you add yellow for not having the courage to do what you need to do, you have gray because all you look at are the gray skies around you – this continues until you have 7 pairs of sunglasses on your face. Two things happen as a result: 1) You look ridiculous. You would never consider wearing 7 pairs of sunglasses at the same time on your face but you think nothing of wearing them on your heart and 2) you will be in complete darkness (literally it’s all dark. God gave me this sunglass analogy for a seminar I did and I could not see past my face when all 7 pair were on).
So while you are working through the healing of the wounds within your heart … walk by faith and not be sight. It will give you what you need one step at a time until all of the sunglasses are removed and you can see clearly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIqLsGT2wbQ&feature=fvsr

Precious Gift of the New Year …
I want to wish you and your family a wonderfully Blessed 2012. I felt in my heart to share the poem I received last year again. May this year be the year you have been waiting for where all your dreams come true. Much Love from my Heart to yours, Happy New Year! :)
Baby New Year
By: Ammie L. Peters, 12/31/10
The current year cries in labor pains of all it has endured.
No looking back to gain a day, or making regrets fewer.
One year ago we each gave birth to a new and precious child.
Did we cherish the gift and hold it tight or ignore it for awhile?
Did we abandon it as we clung to days of past that will
never come again?
Or did we embrace the gift of what we were given and let a
life begin?
Did we greet each day with love and care nurturing it to
grow?
Or did we throw the baby out with the bath water, as the
saying goes.
The labor pains of looking back may seem too strong with
which to deal,
But here we are one year later not believing it is real.
Time turns its back and slips through cracks not missing us
– not even for a minute,
But yet all we can do is sit and wish we only had more of it
so we can finish!
Finish what? I ask. The project list and things we think that
we must do?
Did you give birth to work and lists or did it just become a
part of you?
Welcome the gift of each new birth with a thankful heart and
smile upon your face,
Love, cherish and care for it never letting it out of your sweet
embrace.
You will then see the baby grow to bring you joy and peace making your heart content,
Because that’s the moment you understand the reason for
which it was sent.
