Beloved …
Love endures all things. It will never give up. It will stand in the face of adversity and overcome. It will claim back Its territory and draw the line in the sand. It will claim Victory.
Let your Heart return to it’s source, the true root, your First Love … then the Love that was planned for you from the beginning of time will return to you. For you must first give up life to gain Life. I hear God gently speaking these Words, “Return to Me … willingly surrender, Love me more than you love life and I will rescue you from this world for I am your First Love.”

Brighten the world with the Color of who you are …
In these times where there seems to be more and more deaths and funeral after funeral, I want to encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your dash. The dash that represents your Life from the day you were born to the day you are called to pass from this world (you know, the dash you see on the headstones at the cemetery). So what is it your dash represents? What is it that you have accomplished? What would be written about you? What would be spoken at your funeral?
If you are caught up in the rat race, bow out of the race right now. It isn’t about how much money you have in your bank account. It isn’t about the title you have at work or the car that you drive. It isn’t about that endless To Do List you pursue every day. It’s about who you are as a person. It’s about the Hearts you have touched, the lives you have impacted by who you are. Above all things people will remember how you treated them. The people who are remembered and held dear to the Hearts around them are the people who have touched their Heart.

Who you are and how you treat others paints color on the canvas of each and every Heart that crosses your path. No one but you can choose the color to use. Every day a paintbrush is placed within your hand, what color are you choosing?
Bring color and brighten the world by changing a Life. Live all you were called to be. It is never too late to add meaning to that dash (both your dash and the dashes that surround you).

Learning to Walk …
Forgive. We go thru lessons in life to learn and to grow so we can find our way back to who we were made to be from the beginning. When a baby is learning to walk, he stumbles and some times falls but his parents are there to help him stand back up, to hold his hands and to cheer him on until he can walk on his own. The baby doesn’t look at how many times he has fallen or stumbled. He doesn’t give up and sit there all discouraged and depressed. He just wants to walk and to get to the loving arms of his parents who are cheering him on, that is where his focus is. God does the same for us so if you have stumbled or even tripped and fell, look straight ahead to see the arms open wide and hear the Voice cheering you on. Pick yourself up, make things right that you did wrong and take the right steps going forward.
Forgive yourself and forgive others. Understand that although you may already be walking some are just learning to walk. In our spiritual journey, it has nothing to do with age and everything to do with Heart so don’t judge someone because you feel they should know better. They may just be finding their way to Life and learning what is important. Open your arms wide, cheer them on and Love them. They will walk some day it just takes Love and patience. It’s not the mistakes but what we do with them that counts.

Mirror Love …
Something as simple as a smile and a “Hi! How are you doing today?” can touch a Heart and bring a smile to another’s face. Never underestimate the power of Love and an act of kindness. It’s amazing what happens when we walk forward and Live it.
While in New York city this weekend, I was more than blessed at the Heart and the Love I experienced in that city. As we walked down the city streets, there were different people doing different things. Some shopping, some working on construction, some doormen but each and every one when I put kindness and love out to them, returned that love and kindness right back to me. It was amazing! There was a gentleman manning one of the doors. I saw him standing there as person after person walked by not noticing him. He would open the door and then take his post again. I walked by and smiled really big and said, “Hi! How are you doing today?” He looked at me surprised as if his job was one where he was meant to blend in with the woodwork. The smile that spread across his face was so big, it was worth a million bucks. It’s amazing how many in life just need to be noticed. They need to be Loved. They need to know that someone does care they exist and it truly can be from something as simple as a smile and a “how are you?”
My friend said she couldn’t believe how people were going out of their way to help us and not one person was rude, not one and we were all over that beautiful city. It was spoken that’s unheard of in New York. I smile in awe at the power of Love. When you become that Love and walk forward in it even in New York city that Love will mirror right back.
Every heart no matter what age, color or culture needs Love. Each and every life is important, not one more important than the other. Don’t treat someone with kindness and respect because of social status or a title, treat each and every Heart the same way … Love them! When you can Love each person then you know you have become Love and that is when it will mirror back. Why? because your Love is no longer conditional, it is unconditional and that is God’s Heart.
Love one another, be kind and watch the world around you change.

Listen to the Heart Tugs …
Listening to the Heart Tugs. Last night my friend Kathy was on her way to our Blessings 2 Good meeting. She called and left me a message saying she would be late because she was helping someone. When she got to the meeting, she was beaming! She began to share with us what had happened. She said she was on her way to the meeting and passed a car that was pulled over on 159th. As she passed, she said the Heart Tug was so strong she had to turn around to help. She has never done this before and most people would think she was off her rocker for doing it (a woman alone stopping to help a stranger). She said her Heart pulled her with a force she knew she had to go back. In the car was a mom and her young daughter stranded on the side of the road. She had run out of gas. Kathy offered to help and she was so thankful. Kathy drove them to the closest gas station thinking they could pick up a gas container at the station to fill it. They pulled up to Costco and she asked the attendant if they had any gas containers. He said, “No, but there is one there someone left that you are welcome to use.” Kathy thought, “Great, how convenient is that?” Well they tried and tried to open the container but it wouldn’t open. She noticed also that there was a sign saying “members only”. She thought, “uh, oh”. She wasn’t a member and neither was the lady she was helping. They were talking with the attendant about what happened and wondering if somehow they could still get gas. The standard response would be “no” but he opened his Heart and said, “As long as you have a debit card or American Express, I’ll ensure you get the gas you need.” The mother had a look of concern on her face. She said, “I only have cash.” Kathy said, “That’s okay, I’ll use my debit card.” The attendant then suggested they go to Pep Boys to pick up a gas container and then come back so they did. When Kathy was leaving me a message saying she would be late for the meeting, the mom overhead and felt bad. Kathy shared, “Oh no honey, this is exactly what that meeting is about. It’s about the Heart Tugs and ensuring we listen no matter what so we can live that Love.” Kathy had just registered one of her In the Spirit of Love cards so she reached into her purse and handed it to her. She explained how it works and encouraged her to keep the Love going. The woman, the attendant and another gentlemen who had walked over to help were in awe. They had never heard of such a thing and hadn’t witnessed a complete stranger willing to step forward and go the extra mile to help someone. Kathy said she was so blessed for listening to the Heart Tug and seeing God touch each of their Hearts in a way that she knew would forever impact them.
Listening to those Heart Tugs and living Love is what this journey is all about. Those Heart Tugs are God and when we listen to them, our lives and others lives will be Blessed. And at times, God likes to push us out of our comfort zone to see if we Trust where He is guiding. It is truly amazing how your life will change once you begin listening to the Heart Tugs. So I want to encourage you to listen to the Heart Tugs and please keep the Love going. The world needs it and if we each do our part this world will be all we hoped it would be. Know your Value …
Most of us have heard the lesson of the $20 bill. A speaker stood before the audience holding up a $20 bill. He asked who in the audience would want it. The hands went up all over the room. He then managed to crumple it in his hands. He then threw it on the ground and stepped on it. He then ground it into the floor with his shoe. He then picked it up and asked who still wanted the $20 bill. The hands all still went up because the value of the $20 bill did not change regardless of what he had done to it.
I want to remind you of your value. Do not let the world convince you that you have no value. I know you’ve been crumpled in someone’s hands, stepped on and even squashed into the floor like a bug but your value is your value and no one can take it away from you unless you let them, please don’t let them. When someone crumples you, there will be someone sent to straighten you out. When someone steps on you, there will be someone sent to brush the dirt off and when someone squashes you like a bug there will be someone sent to remind you that God Loves you and can bring you Life again. It reminds me of Humpty Dumpty but that story has been missing the ending for too long so it’s time to write it in :)
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,
All the King’s horses,
and all the King’s men,
couldn’t put Humpty together again.
Then a bell rang that was heard thru the land,
God came Himself to give a great Hand,
What all the King’s horses and men couldn’t do,
God fully restored by speaking I Love You.
Please know God Loves you no matter what the world has done to you. Know your value.

Inhale, Exhale … Love
The Hearts are longing for Love in the world. Each and every Heart is designed to give Love and to receive Love. To breathe, we inhale and then we exhale. They go together and why it is important to both give and receive Love. If we only exhale then we are not breathing. If we only inhale then we are not breathing. Only when we inhale and exhale are we actually breathing. If you continue to give Love but cannot receive Love due to what the false face of love has done to hurt you then you aren’t breathing and if you’re not breathing, you’re not alive. Please don’t walk around dead, God has given us breath. Our bodies are designed to breathe without having to think about it. It’s just how we were made and we actually have to think to stop that natural process of breathing. So if you aren’t able to Love (whether giving it or receiving it) then please quiet the mind and get to know the real face of Love … the one that is patient, kind, selfless, humble, forgiving, joyful, good, trusting, and enduring. The real face of Love is unconditional, never fails and endures forever. Have you met that Love yet? If not, keep seeking until you do. That Love is what we are designed to be and to live. For God designed us in His very own image. So if your heart longs for that Love then become that Love. Remain in Him and He will remain in you.
Love is a gift that can be given without cost and when received is a gift money can’t buy.

Tame the Beast …
Can you Love even when there is hate pouring out of another’s heart? It is easy to Love those who are kind and Love back but what about those who don’t, are you able to still Love? A friend of mine had something happen last week that is such a good lesson. Her and her fiance were on a walk one morning and there was a man in a black truck filled with rage. He was saying more than a few choice words and had plenty of anger spewing out at another driver. It made her feel more than uncomfortable. That hate filled the atmosphere around him so not only did it impact the one he was angry at but it impacted her Heart as well. I encouraged her no matter how hard it is to send a lot of Love and prayers to him. Often those screaming out (think of them as brat attacks) are those who the world has wounded the most and have never truly been Loved. What if God has put that person in your path because all He needs is one prayer from one Heart who can see past what the world has done to them so He can step into their life and introduce real Love to them?
When people cross your path and you can see them thru the eyes of your Heart instead of your head, you will see the wounded little boy or girl inside that the world has come to shatter and destroy. The child who the world has taken away all hope that there is a decent human being in the world. A child who feels everyone is out to get them so they are in defense mode trying to protect the one small part of their heart the world hasn’t yet destroyed. A child who feels alone in a world who has done nothing but hurt and attack them. A child crying out to be Loved.
Can you see past the Beast to Love?

Don’t judge, Love …
If we want to wear the eyeglasses of judgment then we need to take a good look in the mirror first. On this journey, one of the things I have learned is judgment comes in many different disguises. It comes in the disguise of what seems to be innocent comments like “Why is he/she doing that? I would never do that”. It comes disguised as freedom of speech, “I’m entitled to my opinion”. And the most dangerous of them all is it comes in the disguise of God’s Spirit when only God’s True Spirit is and ever will be the judge.
When judgment is not left in God’s hands and only God’s hands, it becomes one of the biggest evil monsters in this earth sent to divide the people. One of God’s gifts to us is that we hold in our hands the power to remove that evil monster from the land. If we don’t feed it, it will die … please don’t feed it. Don’t dismiss someone because of a label of the world, everything here is meaningless.
To disarm that ugly beast focus on the changes that need to happen within your own heart. We are to walk this earth as living examples of God and until we remove the spec from our own eye, we cannot see clearly to remove it from another. Don’t judge, instead Love one another.
